El rector del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra, presidió el acto de instalación del II Congreso Internacional de Educación Infantil, en el marco de las Séptimas Jornadas de la Infancia “Didáctica para la educación infantil”, el Tercer seminario de educación y el Octavo encuentro de profesores y escritores, que se lleva a cabo entre el 16 y el 18 de mayo.
En su intervención, el rector Portocarrero Sierra, puntualizó: “Se espera que estos días de reflexión académica, constituyan un espacio para aportar a los maestros y actores sociales, en su labor educativa, constructiva y transformadora, para que se enriquezcan los procesos didácticos a fin de responder, de mejor manera, al encargo social de ofrecer una educación de calidad para nuestros niños y niñas en los diferentes contextos educativos, lo cual requiere de la construcción de sistemas didácticos y metodológicos cada vez más fecundos e innovadores”.

II International Congress of Early Childhood Education is held at the TdeA
The President of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra, chaired the opening ceremony of the II International Congress of Early Childhood Education, within the framework of the Seventh Day of Childhood "Didactic for early childhood education", the Third Seminar of Education and the Eighth Meeting of Teachers and Writers, which takes place between May 16 and 18.
In his speech, the President Portocarrero Sierra, said: "It is expected that these days of academic reflection, constitute a space to provide teachers and social actors in their educational, constructive and transformative work, to enrich the teaching processes in order to respond, in a better way, to the social task of offering a quality education for our children in the different educational contexts, which requires the construction of increasingly fruitful and innovative teaching and methodological systems."
