Por cuarto año consecutivo, la institución universitaria efectuó el festival Talentos TdeA. En esta ocasión, el concurso convocó a más de 60 estudiantes de todos los programas académicos en diferentes expresiones artísticas como pintura, dibujo, teatro, baile y canto, poesía.
A la fase final llegaron 18 participantes, entre los cuales el jurado calificador, integrado por Sandra Mónica Becerra García, Wilmar Andrés Martínez Valencia, Fausto Arroyave Rojas, Yohnni Echavarría Álvarez y José Fabio Higuita Yepes, eligió a los tres mejores talentos de esta edición.
“Esta es una actividad que motiva mucho a los estudiantes porque el primer lugar o “Talento de oro” recibe un estímulo del pago de matrícula del 100 %; el segundo puesto, de un 50 % y el tercer lugar de un 30 %. Nos sentimos altamente satisfechos con este espacio que promueve la multiculturalidad y la diversidad artística en la institución. Definitivamente, en el TdeA la cultura es arte y hacemos parte de ella, exclamó el profesional del área de cultura, Carlos Mario Osorio Vanegas.
Tras una emotiva definición, el concurso lo ganó Marlyn Oriana Calle Pérez, estudiante de tercer semestre de Administración Financiera, quien conquistó al público asistente con su melodiosa voz. En su presentación definitiva en el auditorio Gilberto Echeverri Mejía ella se presentó con la canción “Tu falta de querer”, de Mon Laferte, interpretación que la hizo merecedora a la máxima calificación por parte del jurado.
“Estoy feliz de haber ganado. Como soy beneficiaria de ‘Matrícula Cero’, en lugar del premio me van a dar manutención o cursos complementarios. Mi sueño como artista no es el dinero. Yo ya estoy viviendo mi sueño como artista que es pasarla bien con mis amigos a la hora de tocar y de cantar. Es lo que me hace más feliz”, narró la entusiasta ganadora del concurso.
Entre tanto, el segundo y tercer lugar fueron para Brayam Ibargüen Asprilla, estudiante de tercer semestre de Negocios Internacionales, y Ximena González Parra, estudiante de Psicología de tercer semestre, ambos en la modalidad de baile.
El primero mostró sus habilidades en géneros como dancehall, looking, hip hop y Dh queen. Por su parte, Ximena bailó kpop, un estilo que fusiona diferentes ritmos, entre ellos vogue, tutting, waking y locking.
Día Internacional de la Danza
Así mismo, y como ya es habitual cada año, el TdeA, institución universitaria, se sumó a los festejos con motivo del Día Internacional de la Danza.
La comunidad académica se congregó masivamente en el coliseo institucional para apreciar las coreografías preparadas por el grupo Experimental Dance del TdeA, el cual combina de manera lúdica el folklore con los bailes de salón y las expresiones urbanas.
“Además tuvimos como invitado al grupo Flowing de la comuna 7, Robledo, integrado por niños desde los siete años, adolescentes y adultos de este sector de la ciudad tan cercano a los afectos de nuestra institución. Fue un espectáculo colmado de fantasía y color donde el talento de los bailarines fue premiado con sonoros aplausos y una gran ovación por parte del público”, indicó Osorio Vanegas. En este evento, también se destaca el trabajo de los maestros que dirigen los grupos: Thalía Herrera, Andrés Vallejo, Rogelio Gaviria y Pascasio Chamorro.
Muchos de los talentos artísticos que hoy representan a la institución en encuentros del departamento y el país hacen parte de la cátedra Acude (actividades culturales y/o deportivas), espacio de formación integral de los estudiantes que promueve sus capacidades en las artes plásticas, el teatro y el baile, entre otras expresiones.
At TdeA, culture is art!
For the fourth consecutive year, the university held the TdeA Talents festival. On this occasion, the contest gathered more than 60 students from all academic programs in different artistic expressions such as painting, drawing, theater, dance, singing, and poetry.
The final phase was attended by 18 participants, among whom the qualifying jury, made up of Sandra Mónica Becerra García, Wilmar Andrés Martínez Valencia, Fausto Arroyave Rojas, Yohnni Echavarría Álvarez and José Fabio Higuita Yepes, chose the three best talents of this edition.
"This is an activity that motivates students a lot because the first place or "Golden Talent" receives a 100% tuition payment incentive; second place 50% and third place 30%. We are highly satisfied with this space that promotes multiculturalism and artistic diversity in the institution. "I'm very happy I won. As I am a beneficiary of “Matricula Cero” (Zero registration fee program), instead of the prize they will give me monthly stipend or complementary courses. My dream as an artist is not money. I'm already living my dream as an artist, which is to have a good time with my friends when it comes to playing and singing. It's what makes me happiest," said the enthusiastic winner of the contest.
Meanwhile, second and third place went to Brayam Ibargüen Asprilla, a third-semester student of International Business, and Ximena González Parra, a third-semester student of Psychology, both in dance performance.

International Dance Day
Likewise, and as usual every year, TdeA, university institution, joined the celebrations on the occasion of International Dance Day.
The academic community gathered in the institutional coliseum to appreciate the choreographies prepared by the Experimental Dance group of the TdeA, which combines folklore with ballroom dances and urban expressions in a playful way.
"We also had as a guest the group Flowing from Comuna 7, Robledo, made up of children from the age of seven, adolescents and adults from this sector of the city, close to the affections of our institution. It was a show full of fantasy and color, where the talent of the dancers was rewarded with resounding applause and a great ovation from the audience," said Osorio Vanegas. In this event, the work of the teachers who lead the groups is also highlighted: Thalía Herrera, Andrés Vallejo, Rogelio Gaviria, and Pascasio Chamorro.
Many of the artistic talents that today represent the institution in meetings of the department and the country are part of the Acude lecture (cultural and/or sports activities), a space for the comprehensive training of students that promotes their abilities in plastic arts, theatre, and dance, among other expressions.
