El rector del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra, instó a los estudiantes-deportistas a seguir defendiendo, ciento por ciento, la misión del TdeA y a llevar muy en alto los colores y la bandera de la Institución Universitaria en las distintas competencias locales, nacionales e internacionales.
Así lo resaltó el directivo, en los actos de premiación de las Olimpiadas TdeA 2018-1, con el Mundialito de Fútbol Sala y la entrega de la bandera institucional, que llevarán 37 deportistas clasificados a la edición 27 de los Juegos Nacionales Universitarios de ASCUN Deportes, que tendrán lugar en Medellín.
Portocarrero Sierra puso de presente que el buen deportista tiene que ser buen estudiante y refleja la imagen positiva del TdeA. “Ustedes deben ser generadores de buenas noticias. Como rector estoy comprometido ciento por ciento con el desarrollo deportivo y cultural. Hemos invertido muchos recursos en este campo y lo seguiremos haciendo”, destacó.

The President of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra, urged student-athletes to continue defending, one hundred percent, the mission of the TdeA and to carry the colors and flag of the University Institution in the different local, national and international, competitions.
This was highlighted by the President during the 2018-1 TdeA Olympics awards ceremony. The event also included ceremonies for the Futsal World "university" Cup and handing over of the institutional flag, which will take 37 athletes classified to the 27th edition of the National University Games of ASCUN Sports , which will take place in Medellin.
Portocarrero Sierra said that a good athlete must be a good student and reflects the positive image of the TdeA. "You must be generators of good news. As president, I am 100% committed to sports and cultural development. We have invested a lot of resources in this field and we will continue to do so," he said.
