• Esta semana el TdeA integró tres importantes eventos: La Alianza Campus Global, la Semana Ambiental y la Semana de la Sostenibilidad, que se desarrollarán desde el lunes 30 de octubre hasta el viernes 3 de noviembre, con una variada programación académica, cultural y de oferta de productos amigables con la naturaleza y el medio ambiente.
• El evento central de estas jornadas, será el Desfile de Moda Circular que se realizará el viernes 3 de noviembre a las 10:00 a.m. y que busca segundas oportunidades para prendas usadas y de buena calidad, que sean asequibles a personas de menores recursos que quieren estar a tono con las marcas y tendencias del momento.
La Alianza Campus Global en su segunda versión, se inició hoy en el TdeA en asocio con dos instituciones de educación superior del país, la Universidad Antonio Nariño y la Corporación Universidad América de Bogotá. Este es un espacio donde se cuenta con agendas académicas y culturales paralelas en las tres universidades, alrededor de una temática común que para este año es el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible ODS número 11, Ciudades y Territorios Sostenibles.
Según la Directora de Internacionalización del TdeA, Sandra Franco Londoño, en los encuentros académicos se tratarán temas que tienen que ver con la forma de lograr más ciudades sostenibles y amigables con el medio ambiente y el ser humano. Las visiones que se presentarán durante estas jornadas tendrán la participación desde el sector público con la Gobernación de Antioquia y la presencia internacional de dos reconocidas conferencistas, Yamila Silva Peralta de la Universidad Mar de La Plata en Argentina y Alejandra Chávez Mora de la Universidad de Las Américas de Santiago de Chile.
Este evento de Alianza Campus Global está unido a la Semana Ambiental del TdeA organizada por la Facultad de Ingeniería y la Semana de la Sostenibilidad, porque se encontró que el marco del gran tema de Ciudades y Territorios Sostenibles, era posible integrar las tres programaciones. Durante estos días se tendrán varios talleres y charlas sobre sostenibilidad y un gran evento central que será el Desfile de Moda Circular el viernes 3 de noviembre a las 10:00 a.m., en donde se promoverá la reutilización de prendas usadas y transformadas, para beneficiar a personas de escasos recursos que quieren vestirse a tono con las marcas y estilos contemporáneos. En la página Institucional del TdeA se podrá encontrarse toda la programación detallada de estas jornadas.
Sobre la Semana Ambiental, Alejandra Díaz, coordinadora del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental de la Institución, manifestó que este año se tiene una apuesta especial con el tema de la Moda Circular, haciendo de este un objetivo social y a la vez ambiental. Esta Economía Circular, como también se conoce, evita el consumismo que hoy se tiene en la sociedad e impulsa un aprovechamiento de lo que otros ya no usan, incluso varios integrantes de la comunidad académica tienen emprendimientos en este sector.
En los demás emprendimientos que se presentan durante estas jornadas en el Hall de la Biblioteca y el Sendero de La Paz, hay productos sostenibles que en sus materias primas optimizan la cantidad de recursos ambientales y naturales que se utilizan en su fabricación. En la organización de todos los eventos de esta semana participan las direcciones de Internacionalización y Bienestar, la Oficina de Planeación y la Faculta de Ingeniería del TdeA.
Estudiantes, docentes e investigadores, están invitados a toda la programación preparada para estas jornadas, que se hacen de manera presencial y virtual a través de todas las redes institucionales.

At TdeA week to think and rethink the sustainability phenomenon
• TdeA has included three significant events this week: Global Campus Alliance, Environmental Week, and Sustainability Week. These activities, which have a variety of academic, cultural, and environmentally friendly product offers, will take place from Monday, October 30 through Friday, November 3.
• The main event of these days will be the Circular Fashion Show, which takes place on Friday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. and aims to find used clothing that is still in excellent condition and affordable for those with less money but still wants to be up to date with current trends and brands.
The second version of the Global Campus Alliance was launched today at TdeA in partnership with two of the country's higher education institutions, Universidad Antonio Nariño and Corporación Universidad América de Bogotá. This is a space where there are parallel academic and cultural agendas in the three universities, around a common theme that this year is the Sustainable Development Goal SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Territories.
Sandra Franco Londoño, the Director of Internationalization at TdeA, states that the academic meetings would cover subjects pertaining to the creation of more ecologically and human-friendly cities. The visions that will be presented during these days will have the participation of the public sector with the Government of Antioquia and the international presence of two renowned speakers, Yamila Silva Peralta from the Universidad Mar de La Plata in Argentina and Alejandra Chávez Mora from the Universidad de Las Américas in Santiago de Chile.
This Global Campus Alliance event is linked to the TdeA Environmental Week organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Sustainability Week. This is because it was found that the three programs could be integrated within the context of the major subject of Sustainable Cities and Territories. There will be a number of sustainability-related workshops and talks throughout the course of these days, but the highlight of the program is the Circular Fashion Show, which takes place on Friday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. and promotes the reuse of secondhand and transformed clothing to help those from lower-income backgrounds who wish to wear trendy brands and looks. Alejandra Diaz, the coordinator of the institution's environmental management system, stated that this year's Environmental Week is unique since it centers around the topic of circular fashion, combining social and environmental goals. Known as the "Circular Economy," it avoids the consumerism that now permeates society and encourages the reuse of items that others no longer need. Even several members of the academic community have ventures in this sector.
Sustainable items whose raw materials maximize the amount of environmental and natural resources required in their creation are among the other projects shown these days at the Library Hall and the Sendero de La Paz. All of this week's events are being organized in collaboration with the TdeA Engineering Faculty, the Planning Office, and the Internationalization and Welfare departments.
Students, teachers and researchers are invited to all the programming prepared for these days, which are held in person and virtually through all institutional networks.
