El pasado mes de septiembre en la Fundación Universitaria María Cano se realizó el VIII Simposio Internacional de Investigación Técnica Profesional y Tecnológica, VI Encuentro de Semilleros, V Encuentro de Grupos de Investigación, II Feria de Prototipos– “Los retos de la investigación y la innovación para la transformación social”.
Este evento fue organizado por la Asociación Colombiana de Instituciones de Educación Superior con Formación Técnica Profesional, Tecnológica o Universitaria- ACIET de la cual el Tecnológico de Antioquia, hace parte activa en el Nodo Occidente.
En el evento participaron 11 estudiantes del TdeA en calidad de ponentes pertenecientes a semilleros de investigación adscritos a los grupos INTEGRA, CBATA, GIISTA, RED y SENDEROS. Además, el docente Juan Camilo Giraldo Mejía líder del grupo GIISTA participó en el Encuentro de Líderes de Investigación.

Research Labs in ACIET-2018
This past September at the Fundación Universitaria María Cano was held the VIII International Symposium on Professional and Technological Technical Research, VI Meeting of Research Labs, V Meeting of Research Groups, and II Prototypes Fair – "The challenges of research and innovation for social transformation."
This event was organized by the Colombian Association of Higher Education Institutions with professional, technical, technological or university training –ACIET of which the Tecnológico de Antioquia, is an active member of the West node.
The event was attended by 11 students from the TdeA as speakers belonging to the research group members of the INTEGRA, CBATA, GIISTA, RED and Senderos groups. In addition, professor Juan Camilo Giraldo Mejía leader of the GIISTA Group participated in the meeting of research leaders.
