En la noche de clausura de las Jornadas Universitarias “TdeA 40 años” la comunidad universitaria disfrutó al ritmo del acordeón, la caja y la guacharaca. En el parqueadero principal de la sede de Robledo, los asistentes vibraron con los temas más reconocidos de Daniel Calderón y Los Gigantes del Vallenato. La antesala para este sonoro telón de cierre estuvo a cargo de Dj. Nohava, banda “El chigüiro” y “El polaco”.
Un día antes, con un espectáculo que alternó la música tropical, romántica y ranchera, el Tecnológico de Antioquia recibió su serenata nocturna con motivo de su cuadragésimo aniversario. Con el acompañamiento de Fusión Allegro (Antioquia Andina), agrupación de la casa, un tenor lírico le cantó emotivamente al TdeA por sus 40 años de vida institucional.
“Esa noche bailamos y gozamos con ‘El Combo de las Estrellas’. También con nuestro ‘Experimental Dance’ hicimos un recorrido por cuatro décadas de música donde incluimos ritmos como rock and roll, bachata, salsa, tango y merengue. Nos llena de orgullo contar con este ballet que está a la altura de otras agrupaciones coreográficas de Antioquia”, comentó Carlos Mario Osorio Vanegas, coordinador de vida cultural y artística del TdeA.
Las directivas, en cabeza del rector, Leonardo García Botero, y organizadores de las tradicionales jornadas del Tecnológico de Antioquia, destacaron el buen comportamiento por parte del público que participó en los diferentes certámenes programados entre el lunes 9 y el viernes 13 de octubre. El rector agradeció el apoyo de la Dirección de Bienestar, de las áreas de vida cultural y deportes, así como de los diferentes procesos institucionales, resaltando la masiva participación, la alegría y el sentido de integración de la comunidad educativa, en especial de los estudiantes.
Una de las actividades más elogiadas por cuenta de la familia universitaria fue la “Donatón TdeA 40 años”, que en su tercera edición sumó más de 100 canastas alimentarias que serán entregadas a estudiantes y egresados previamente identificados para este aporte nutricional.
"Cuando se hace el análisis acerca de las cosas que más lo satisfacen a uno como persona está la de servir y qué mejor que hacerlo en comunidad con las familias de la institución que tienen necesidades. Y qué bueno que ellas también tengan la oportunidad de recibir estos mercados que complementan la vocación del servicio”, destacó Leonardo García Botero, rector del TdeA.
Durante los cinco días de festividades, el “Sendero de la paz” se engalanó con la “Feria de colores y sabores”, que este año contó con la participación de más de 30 estudiantes y egresados, quienes ofrecieron allí diferentes emprendimientos, con un positivo balance, en los sectores de gastronomía, manufacturas, accesorios y servicios, entre otros.
“Me fue demasiado bien. Estoy muy agradecida con la comunidad universitaria por acogerme. Este es un espacio muy dignificante para mi vida y mi familia. Yo vendo bolsos y ropa, pero durante la feria ofrecí también obleas, arroz con leche y otros manjares que hacía con mi mamá”, relató Estefanía Castro Hernández, estudiante del TdeA.
Durante las Jornadas Universitarias “TdeA 40 años”, también se le hizo un reconocimiento público a los 19 deportistas que representaron a la institución en los trigésimos Juegos Universitarios Nacionales 2023 que se cumplieron en Bogotá. En esas justas, el Tecnológico de Antioquia obtuvo seis medallas de oro y una de bronce que ubicaron a la entidad en la casilla 17 del certamen entre 128 instituciones de educación superior participantes.
“En realidad, las jornadas este año fueron muy buenas. Muy chévere todo. Yo las disfruté mucho en compañía de mis compañeros. Son espacios que aportan a la cultura, el esparcimiento y la salud mental. La universidad ha demostrado que se interesa por el bienestar de los estudiantes”, recalcó Catalina Sánchez, estudiante de Trabajo Social del TdeA.
Historic University Days "TdeA 40 years"
On the closing night of the University Days "TdeA 40 years", the university community enjoyed the rhythm of the accordion, the cajón and the guacharaca. The most well-known songs by Daniel Calderón and Los Gigantes del Vallenato were being sung by the audience in the main parking lot of the Robledo campus. The prelude to this sonorous closing curtain was in charge of Dj. Nohava, the band "El chigüiro" and "El polaco."
The day before, with a show that alternated tropical, romantic and ranchera music, the Tecnológico de Antioquia received its evening serenade on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary. A lyric tenor delivered an impassioned tribute to TdeA for its 40 years of institutional life, accompanied by the in-house ensemble Fusión Allegro (Antioquia Andina).
"That night we danced and enjoyed with 'El Combo de las Estrellas'. Additionally, with our "Experimental Dance," we traveled across four decades of music, incorporating styles like rock & roll, bachata, salsa, tango, and merengue. We are quite delighted to have this ballet that is on par with other Antioquian choreographic ensembles,” commented Carlos Mario Osorio Vanegas, coordinator of cultural and artistic life of TdeA.
The directors, led by Leonardo García Botero, the TdeA’s president, and the coordinators of the Tecnológico de Antioquia's traditional days praised the public's exemplary behavior throughout the many competitions held between Monday, October 9, and Friday, October 13. The TdeA’s president expressed gratitude for the support of the Welfare Department, the areas of cultural life and sports, as well as the many institutional processes, emphasizing the widespread engagement, joy, and a sense of integration among the educational community, particularly the students.
The "Donatón TdeA 40 years" was one of the events that received the greatest praise from the university community. In its third iteration, more than 100 food baskets were added, and they will now be distributed to students and alumni who have been pre-selected to receive this nutritional assistance.
"When considering the things that make a person feel most fulfilled, serving comes out on top, and what better way to serve than by working together with the families of the institution that have needs. And how good that they also have the opportunity to receive these goods that complement the vocation of service," said Leonardo García Botero, president of TdeA.
The "Fair of Colors and Flavors" was set up on the "Sendero de la paz" over the course of the five-day celebrations. This year, more than 30 students and recent graduates participated, offering a variety of ventures with a positive balance in the food, manufacturing, accessories, and service industries, among others.
“It went too well. I'm very grateful that the university community accepted me. This is a very dignifying space for my life and my family. I sell bags and clothing, but I also sold rice pudding, wafers, and other treats that my mother and I made for the fair,” said TdeA student Estefanía Castro Hernández.
During the University Days "TdeA 40 years", public recognition was also given to the 19 athletes who represented the institution in the thirtieth National University Games 2023 held in Bogotá. With six gold and one bronze medal from these competitions, the Tecnológico de Antioquia came in 17th out of 128 higher education institutions that took part.
“Actually, this year's University Days were excellent. It was all pretty cool. They were wonderful to experience with my friends. They are spaces that support culture, leisure, and mental wellness. The university has shown that it is interested in the welfare of students," remarked Catalina Sanchez, a TdeA Social Work student.
