El rector del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, anunció que la Institución Universitaria alcanzó, por tercer año consecutivo, el primer puesto entre 3.366 entidades del orden territorial del país en la medición del Índice de Desempeño Institucional para el período 2021, al alcanzar un total de 99.3 puntos, según los resultados que presentó Función Pública.
Esta calificación evidencia las buenas prácticas en la gestión y el desempeño en el servicio que presta el TdeA, como entidad de educación superior del orden departamental. Así mismo, refleja las acciones de mejoramiento acordes con las 19 políticas del Modelo Integrado de Planeación y Gestión —MIPG—, destacó el rector, García Botero.
También, el directivo reconoció el esfuerzo conjunto de los servidores públicos del TdeA para avanzar en el cumplimiento del Plan de Desarrollo “Ser, hacer, trascender”, en la gestión de calidad, transparencia y manejo integral de los procesos, con el objetivo de prestar un buen servicio de cara a la ciudadanía.
El Índice del Desempeño Institucional —IDI— es una herramienta estadística del MIPG que mide cada año la gestión y el desempeño de las entidades públicas del orden nacional y territorial, a partir del Formulario Único de Reporte de Avances de la Gestión —FURAG—. Los resultados fueron presentados por el director general de Función Pública, Nerio José Alvis Barranco, quien también reconoció el trabajo de las entidades para mejorar el desempeño en el servicio gestión público, tanto nacional como territorial.
La política con mayor puntaje, por parte del TdeA, fue la de Transparencia y acceso a la información, con 99.3 puntos; seguida de la de Seguridad digital, con 99,3 y Gestión documental con 99.2.
En la medición, además, la Institución alcanzó los más altos puntajes en las dimensiones de Información y comunicación, con 99.3 puntos; Gestión para resultados, 99.2; Gestión del conocimiento, 99.1; Evaluación de resultados, 98.7 y Control interno, 97.7 puntos.
Por su parte, en el orden territorial, el Tecnológico de Antioquia ocupó el primer lugar entre las instituciones de educación superior públicas, seguido de la Institución Universitaria Envigado con 94.2 puntos; Institución Universitaria Pascual Bravo, con 93.0; Colegio Mayor de Antioquia 84.4 y Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid con 81.0 puntos.

The President of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, Leonardo García Botero, announced that the University Institution reached, for the third consecutive year, the first place among 3,366 entities of the territorial order in Colombia as part of the measurement of the Institutional Performance Index for the period 2021, reaching a total of 99.3 points, according to the results presented by the Public Function Office.

This qualification evidences the good practices in the management and performance in the service provided by the TdeA, as a higher education entity of the departmental order. Likewise, it reflects the improvement actions in accordance with the 19 policies of the Integrated Planning and Management Model (MIPG, for its acronym in Spanish), said the president, García Botero.
Also, the director recognized the joint effort of the public servants of the TdeA to advance in the fulfillment of the Development Plan "Be, do, transcend," in the management of quality, transparency and integral administration of the processes, with the aim of providing a good service to the citizens.
The Institutional Performance Index (IDI, for its acronym in Spanish) is a statistical tool of the MIPG that measures each year the management and performance of public entities of the national and territorial order, based on the Single Management Progress Report Form (FURAG, in Spanish). The results were presented by the General Director of Public Function, Nerio José Alvis Barranco, who also recognized the work of the entities to improve performance in the public management service, both national and territorial.
The policy with the highest score, by the TdeA, was that of Transparency and access to information, with 99.3 points; followed by Digital Security, with 99.3 and Document Management with 99.2.
In the measurement, in addition, the Institution achieved the highest scores in the dimensions of Information and Communication, with 99.3 points; Management for Achieving Results, 99.2; Knowledge Management, 99.1; Evaluation of Results, 98.7 and Internal Control, 97.7 points.
For its part, in the territorial order, the Tecnológico de Antioquia occupied the first place among the public higher education institutions, followed by the Envigado University Institution with 94.2 points; Pascual Bravo University Institution, with 93.0; Colegio Mayor de Antioquia 84.4 and Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid with 81.0 points.
