Gracias al compromiso con la internacionalización de la educación superior, el TdeA recibió la presidencia de la Red Internacional PONCHO.
El Tecnológico de Antioquia -Institución Universitaria en cabeza del Rector Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra y la Directora de Internacionalización, Carolina Franco Arroyave, asumió la presidencia de la Red Internacional PONCHO. La misma contará con el apoyo de la Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca – IU (Tuluá, Colombia) en la vicepresidencia y la Universidad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria (España) en la asesoría técnica y administrativa.
La Red tiene como objetivo inicial continuar con las labores de relacionamiento entre las Instituciones de Educación Superior que participaron en el proyecto de cooperación internacional de la Unión Europea con el mismo nombre. Además, busca ser un referente de trabajo colaborativo y construcción de capacidades para la internacionalización.

TdeA chairs PONCHO International Network
Thanks to the commitment to the internationalization of higher education, the TdeA received the presidency of the PONCHO International Network.
The Tecnológico de Antioquia -University Institution headed by President Lorenzo Portocarrero Sierra and the director of Internationalization, Carolina Franco Arroyave, received the presidency of the PONCHO International Network. It will have the support of the Central Unit of Valle del Cauca – IU (Tuluá, Colombia) in the vice presidency and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in technical and administrative advice.
The initial objective of the Network is to continue the relationship work between the Institutions of Higher Education that participated in the European Union's international cooperation project of the same name. In addition, it seeks to be a benchmark of collaborative work and capacity building for internationalization.
