El auditorio Gilberto Echeverri Mejía del TdeA, fue escenario del Primer Seminario Internacional: Construyendo paz en tiempos de post-conflicto”, en el cual se llevó a cabo el lanzamiento del Observatorio de Paz y Posconflicto en Colombia, entre otras actividades académicas del grupo de investigación Observatorio Público.
La Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Económicas del Tecnológico de Antioquia y su grupo de investigación Observatorio Público; la Universidad de Alicante, España; y el Instituto Universitario de Estudios Sociales de América Latina –IUESAL–, organizaron el “Primer Seminario Internacional: Construyendo paz en tiempos de post-conflicto”, con el objetivo de construir un espacio de reflexión sobre los retos y desafíos que enfrenta la sociedad colombiana, tras la firma de los Acuerdos de Paz.
En desarrollo del evento, que tuvo lugar este 23 de octubre, se llevó a cabo la inauguración del Observatorio de Paz y Posconflicto en Colombia, que es una estrategia para visualizar el seguimiento de los Acuerdos en temas como la política de género, seguridades y capacidades democráticas, mediante una alianza estratégica con diferentes actores de la comunidad y sociedad civil que puedan facilitar la observación de los mismos. Igualmente, tuvo lugar el lanzamiento de la Cátedra Institucional de Paz, que pretende ser un espacio en el cual se traigan reflexiones sobre el proceso, avances, retrocesos, retos y desafíos de la construcción de la paz en Colombia; además, de constituirse en un espacio para socializar los resultados de las investigaciones que realicen quienes hacen parte del Observatorio.

Observatory of Peace and Post-Conflict in Colombia, Another Academic and Research Contribution of the TdeA
The Gilberto Echeverri Mejía Auditorium of the TdeA was the scenario of the First International Seminar: Building Peace in Post-Conflict Times,” which will host the launch of the Peace and Post-Conflict Observatory in Colombia, among other academic activities carried out by the “Observatorio Público” research group.
The School of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the Tecnológico of Antioquia and its Observatorio Público research group; the University of Alicante, Spain; and the University Institute of Social Studies of Latin America –IUESAL–, organized the “First International Seminar: Building Peace in Post-Conflict Times,” with the aim of building a space for reflection on the challenges and new goals facing Colombian society , after the signing of the Peace Agreements.
During the event, which took place on October 23, the inauguration of the Peace and Post-Conflict Observatory in Colombia was carried out, which is a strategy to visualize the follow-up of the Agreements on issues such as gender policy, democratic securities and capabilities, through a strategic alliance with different actors of the community and civil society that can facilitate observation.
Likewise, during the event the launch of the Institutional Chair of Peace took place, which aims to be a space in which reflections on the process, advances, setbacks, challenges and new goals of peace building in Colombia are brought to discussion. In addition, this has become a space to socialize the results of research carried out by those who are part of the “Observatorio.”
